This is a fantastic place for new people to snorkel. Kahaluʻu Beach Park is a protected bay on the National Register of Historic Places. Because it is protected, it offers some of the easiest and best views below the water. Kealakekua Bay
Near the Captain Cook monument, you’ll find some great pockets of water for snorkeling. You’ll either have to do a bit of hiking or rent a kayak or boat to find a deep snorkeling area. But once you do, you won’t regret the journey there.
