Mauna Kea

Parker Ranch

Akaka Falls State Park & Kahuna Falls

Near Hilo, the Akaka Falls are the tallest waterfalls on the island, free falling at 442 feet. Kahuna Falls is free falling at 100 feet and is a 0.4-mile hike-uphill through a lush tropical rainforest.

Kealakekua Bay

Check out Captain Cook Monument and enjoy snorkeling for glimpses of tropical fish, sea turtles, and Hawaiian Spinner dolphins. By far the best snorkeling in the state!
