Stand-Up Paddling is an individual water sport that uses a style of paddling similar to that of the outrigger canoe, but you stand upright on a specially designed SUP board and utilize an elongated paddle! SUP has been practiced for centuries in a variety of forms and cultures and in its recent modernized version has become one of the most popular and fastest growing water sports in the world! It is extremely unique in that you can self-propel while standing across any body of water that skill level warrants without the necessity of wind, waves, or engine power.
Scuba Diving An amazing 30 percent of Hawaii’s marine animals are found nowhere else in the world. The 500 plus native underwater life include: giant sea turtles, moray eels, eagle rays, raccoon butterfly fish, the Hawaiian turkeyfish, and several species of scorpion and trigger fish. The water along the coast is clear year-round, often exceeding 100-foot visibility, with ocean temperatures ranging from 72 degrees in the winter to 80 degrees in the summer.
